For the past two weeks, the Campaign for Southern Equality has been proud to present daily online programming through The Front Porch, our new series dedicated to creating virtual gatherings and space for the #LGBTQSouth. All members of the CSE community are invited to join. And now, we want your opinions as we develop future programming for the initiative.
As we all grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s vital that we sustain community, and in two weeks nearly 200 LGBTQ Southerners and allies have joined us in these virtual spaces. Virtual programming has included community support groups, skill-sharing and skill-building workshops, and presentations from practitioners in their fields. We’ve hosted webinars in the afternoon and evenings.
