Because of the generosity of donors to the Campaign for Southern Equality, we have been able to distribute $500,000 in direct emergency grants to over 1,000 families across 15 states over the past year and a half through our Southern Trans Youth Emergency Project (STYEP). We’ve helped families navigate to out-of-state medical providers, provided patient care funding to 8 affirming clinics across the South, supported dozens of youth-serving organizations with grants, and assisted families with the funds they need for travel.
We want to be sure the CSE community is the first to know about our plans before we make a big announcement about the next phase of STYEP.
