Businesses across the South will come together to support the Campaign for Southern Equality’s work for LGBTQ lived and legal equality across the South.
Meet Our Shop for Equality Partners!

Noir Collective
Noir Collective is a Black- and LGBTQ-owned boutique and art gallery for Black entrepreneurs of all identities, based in Asheville, NC. It is located in the historic Black business district and is a community network of wellness warriors, creative activists, justice visionaries, cultural keepers and peace makers. During Shop for Equality, Noir collective will be donating 13% of Noir-branded products and 5% on other items excluding books for the entire week for December 12-18th.

Trade and Lore
Trade and Lore is an LGBTQ-owned (and mostly LGBTQ-staffed) coffee shop located in downtown Asheville, NC. Having owners and staff where the majority identify as queer, Trade and Lore has been able to create a work environment that feels safe and supportive for each team member and for the greater community as a whole. During Shop for Equality, Trade and Lore will be donating 5% of their proceeds to the Campaign for Southern Equality to support LGBTQ equality throughout the South the entire week of December 12-18th.

Charis Books and More
This LGBTQ-owned bookstore is located in Atlanta, GA and is the oldest independent feminist bookstore in the South! They have a large selection of books specializing in representation for BIPOC children, anti-racism, and books for queer and gender identity. They will be donating 1% of their store’s proceeds during the week of December 12-18th for Shop for Equality.

Chestnut
Located in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC this restaurant is run by folks who “believe that all of us are free to be who we truly are and love who we truly love.” They do this year and year again by showing they are an ally by providing equal employment opportunities and partnering with the Campaign for Southern Equality year and year again for Shop for Equality and donating proceeds to fight for LGBTQ rights throughout the South.

Corner Kitchen
This restaurant located in the historic Biltmore Village in the mountains of NC, is run by folks who “believe that any company, regardless of size, positively impacts their community by being socially responsible.” They show that they are an ally not only by providing equal employment opportunities – but also by partnering with the Campaign for Southern Equality for Shop for Equality and donating proceeds to our work.
