Dear friends of ours – a straight couple who are incredible allies to LGBT folks – just did something amazing. When filing their taxes, they were able to easily calculate how much they saved by filing as a married couple versus as two single people. They are now planning to give this amount to CSE to show their support for LGBT families and couples who cannot legally marry and cannot file taxes as married.
