It’s been a relentless few weeks, and we know trans youth and their families across the country are scared and unsure of what the future holds for their access to health care. There’s a lot of information circulating about what you can and can’t do, where care can continue or not, and more. So we’re gathering our team of patient navigators, care experts, and lawyers to help you cut through the noise to get the facts, figure out next steps to continue care for your family, and support you however we can through this challenging moment.
On Wednesday, February 5th, the Campaign for Southern Equality hosted an Emergency Town Hall about trans youth healthcare access. We shared what we know about the recent Executive Order impacting healthcare access for trans youth, information on concrete resources from the Trans Youth Emergency Project (TYEP), and steps you can take to continue care, regardless of where you live.
