As our team begins to wrap up projects for 2021 and look toward all of our work to strive for lived and legal equality for LGBTQ Southerners in the new year, we wanted to share some great news that just came through:
A generous donor has issued a matching gift challenge to the Campaign for Southern Equality community: Every dollar we raise in December will be matched immediately, up to $50,000. That means that $15 becomes $30, $100 becomes $200, and $500 becomes $1,000.

We’ve been so grateful to everyone who has supported the Campaign for Southern Equality this year, from grassroots donors to business partners to generous commitments from foundations.
Now we have a major opportunity to put this movement into the best-possible position ahead of 2022, when we know we’ll face significant challenges, including a wave of new anti-LGBTQ bills in Southern legislatures.
