This week, Exodus International, a religious organization which attempts to convert gays and lesbians to heterosexuality, will be hosting a conference titled “The Reality of Grace” in Black Mountain, NC. In response, a group of LGBT organizers in Asheville, NC, are hosting “The Reality of Will and Grace,” a series of events and art exhibits which affirm homosexuality and LGBT rights. Running from June 8 to June 11, The Reality of Will and Grace features talks and panel discussions featuring Councilman Cecil Bothwell, Mel White, Wayne Besen, local clergy, and LGBT people who have experienced the Exodus program.
