This event will provide a space for queer and trans people of all ages to honor our feelings of grief, and consider what gives us hope and connection. We invite you to bring a special or sacred object to place on our communal altar. This could be a photo, a piece of art, a memento, or any item that feels significant to you. These items will be placed on our communal altar as a collective gesture of vulnerability and strength. You will take the item back with you at the close of our event.
This is not a discussion group. There will be some discussion but we will primarily be embracing and expressing our grief, and our visions for hope and connection through art, with the assistance of music and somatic practice. No art or craft experience is needed to participate.
Light snacks will be provided.
