Send a Message of Support to Trans Youth

The last few years been incredibly challenging for transgender youth and their families across the country.

Lawmakers across the South and Midwest are passing extreme legislation banning best-practice medical care for transgender youth. As a result, roughly 40% of trans youth in the country – and 92% of trans youth in the South – now live in a state where a ban on gender affirming care has passed. With recent Executive Orders, more and more trans youth are facing barriers to care.

It has been a relentless time. But we know that the love and support that exists for trans kids across the country is stronger than these dangerous laws. That’s why Campaign for Southern Equality is collecting messages of hope and support to share with transgender kids and their families. Use the form below to send a message, and we’ll be sure they reach trans youth impacted by these cruel bans.

And be sure to learn about the Trans Youth Emergency Project, which supports families of trans young people nationwide in navigating the bans on gender-affirming care.
