June is Pride Month – and this year, the Campaign for Southern Equality is honored to be partnering with Olde London Road and the South Slope Blues in Asheville for an exciting month of Pride activities.
Every Friday in June, the English-style pub will be hosting contests and games that unite the joys of soccer and LGBTQ pride, with 100% of the proceeds from every event supporting the Campaign for Southern Equality. Each day there are hours of games and activities that are fun for all ages – including relay races, penalty kicks, two-on-two soccer games for youth, tournaments, and more.
On Saturday, June 26 from 12-8pm, we’ll close it all out with the Closing Party and Winners Tournament while watching the Pride Night Asheville City Soccer Club home game streamed live at 7:30 pm from UNCA’s Greenwood Field. You won’t want to miss it. Learn more by visiting Olde London Road (270 Depot Street, Asheville 28801 in the River Arts District).
A huge thanks to Olde London Road and the South Slope Blues for this exciting partnership. We’re also grateful and honored for generous sponsorship from several major breweries – including Hi-Wire Brewing, Boojum Brewing Company, Highland Brewing, Foothills Brewing, and New Belgium Brewing – plus local restaurants Pennycup Coffee, Battlecat Coffee Bar, 10th Muse Comfort Food, and Zia Taqueria.
See you there!
