Town Hall for Families of Trans Youth Impacted by Changes at Massachusetts Clinics

October 21, 2025 in News by Emma Chinn

In response to a surge of anti-transgender attacks from the federal government, some clinics that serve transgender young people have announced that they are ceasing gender-affirming care for youth under 19, or are no longer accepting new youth patients. This includes Fenway Health, a large provider in Boston, and Outer Cape Health Services. We know this is a confusing time for many families and caregivers in the region, so we’re hosting a community Town Hall to break down what’s happening, the legal landscape, and tangible resources to help impacted families locate new providers.

Fill out the form below to RSVP to our virtual Town Hall about changes to gender-affirming care for trans youth at some Massachusetts clinics – on Wednesday, Oct. 29th from 6:30-7:30pm. The Town Hall will take place on Zoom, and even if you can’t attend in real-time, a summary of what was discussed will be sent to all RSVPs after the event.

Need immediate support? If you need help finding providers of gender-affirming care unimpacted by recent restriction – or funding for travel, please get in touch here.
