We are proud to present Reverb of Resistance, a powerful evening of live music, visual art, and community connection, taking place Thursday, June 25 at The Grey Eagle Music Hall. The event is produced by Southern Equality Studios, a core program of the Campaign for Southern Equality that supports queer artists and explores arts as a catalyst in achieving lived and legal LGBTQ equality across the South.
Reverb of Resistance brings together artists and audiences for an all-ages benefit event that centers the multidimensionality of Southern LGBTQ+ artists. The program will feature live performances and collaborative art in a space designed to foster connection, joy, and solidarity. Performers include Las Montañitas, Elizabeth McCorvey and Her Band, and Lyric.
Liz Williams, Director of Southern Equality Studios, said today:
“At a time when trans and queer people are facing unprecedented, escalating attacks at every level, art remains a powerful force for truth, healing, and resistance. Reverb of Resistance is about creating space for our community to gather, to be seen, and to channel both grief and hope into collective action.”
